Homeowner Preparation Resources

Two free tools are published here for manufactured and mobile home owners in Texas. Each one delivers the useful part first and is available without an email gate, a sign-in, or a sales step. They are designed to help you prepare before you talk to anyone about leveling or support work.

Mobile home leveling call and site-visit checklist

A printable checklist that organizes a leveling request. It walks through the home details worth writing down, the visible symptoms to note, the safe exterior photos to take, access and property conditions, the license question to ask before work starts, the scope items to confirm as included or excluded, and the paperwork to request after the work. It is meant to be printed and carried, or filled in on screen, so a conversation stays organized and nothing important is left unasked.

Manufactured home wind zone map by county

A county-by-county reference for the wind-zone classification that applies to manufactured home installation in Texas. It lists all 254 Texas counties, marks the fifteen Wind Zone II counties named in the governing statute, and records the source and a review date for every entry. A wind zone is a federal design classification; it does not by itself describe a specific home’s condition. The full table is downloadable as a CSV.

These resources are informational. They organize a request and summarize public rules; they do not perform an inspection, verify a license, or make a permit determination. For the services this publisher accepts requests for, see Services or return to the home page.
